1. If you had the opportunity to bungee jump, would you?
I don't think I would to be honest. I can't say for sure because I have never had the opportunity, but I know I won't be making an effort to make the opportunity arise. I'm not scared of heights and I'm not particularly squeamish; I just get an uneasy feeling from something that has such a potential for human error. I also don't like the idea of falling and then being yanked back up. I would love to sky dive though. I told my mom that one of these years for mother's day, we would go on a mother-daughter sky dive.
2. Would you rather go to the movie theatre or the drive-in?
Ooh I love the drive-in. Movie theatres are fine, but drive-ins are a whole different experience. Before having kids I used to go a lot. Our friends would get a big group together and we would grill before the movies. It is also a way better value seeing as how the drive-in around here is $7/person for 3 movies while the theatre is up to $9.50/person. Once our kids are a little older, we will take them to the drive-in.
Here is a great shot of the better local drive-in by a local photographer:

Nope. I enjoy the shopping experience so I wouldn't want to do things any different. I like to slowly peruse each isle and get different meal ideas. I am definitely an impulse shopper and I'm Ok with that. I also like to buy from places that typically don't do delivery such as Trader Joe's.
4. Eyebrows: Do you wax, thread, pluck, or stay au natural?
I usually pluck but sometimes when I get my hair done I will splurge and have the brows professionally waxed. I'm pretty good at shaping mine so I don't rely on pros.
5. Would the people you went to high school with be surprised by your life today?
Maybe, seeing as how in high school I was sure I wouldn't get married until I was at least 30 and that I would never have kids. Obviously I took a slight departure from those plans. Other than that, I don't think my life is too surprising.
I hope everyone has some fun holiday weekend plans - or at least get some relaxing done. We will be living up the gorgeous weather that we hopefully will be having.
I'll leave everyone with some cute photos from 2 years ago - Little Dude's first 4th of July:
My sweet little 3 month little boy.
I photoshopped this back in 2009. I must have been bored.
He had an old-man-style receding hairline.
It was cute, but I'm glad he outgrew it.
I would enjoy shopping if we had a trader joes! Everything is in Tucson :( and would love a drive in theater here too. And I'm now afraid of heights or anything either, but bungee jumping seems reckless to me, esp after having children..
ReplyDeleteI wonder how safe it is statistically?
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a Trader Joes to shop at...but we live in the middle of nowhere:(!
ReplyDeleteNew follower from 5Q Friday. Gorgeous family:)

Thanks Renita! The Trader Joes here is a little further than I would like to drive for groceries but so worth it in quality.
